where do you eat?

(Seriously) Where do you eat?

I eat out frequently and lately seem to be going to the same places without thinking about it much. I'd like to find something new (but good). So - what restaurants do you like?

I guess this is really only relevant to Atlanta area readers. Prefererably, recommendations would be inside the Perimeter or maybe in the area just OTP around Perimeter mall - near my office. No other restrictions or qualifications. Cheap, expensive or moderately priced is fine - just trying to change things up a little.

If I get a pretty good list, I'll post it here.

You know that one place with the biscuits and organicy good stuff, flying something or other? Thats pretty much the only place I have ever been in atlanta that I went again later. In fact I would be hard pressed to name another atlanta joint other than the Varsity.

hey Tarik - that would be the Flying Biscuit. That reminds me... across the street from the Biscuit is a decent breakfast/brunch place, El Gato Bizco. Haven't been to either in a while. Flying Biscuit has a to-go bake shop next door. May have to drop in today and pick up a scone or some cookies.

I use to hit the Varsity about once a year. Now it's about once every five years.

Yeah, I think all I needed was to hit the varsity once, and I was good forever. I used to love ice cream/cream shakes, but after an unfortunate incident riding home too fast after getting one (nations in richmond, ca) I pretty much avoid them now.

Yeah, flying biscuit! I thought it was flying pig for some reason, but pig=bacon which is a bisuits friend. There we go...
